In a region still recovering from brutal civil war, MGK is working with the Yao people of the "forgotten province" in Mozambique to restore a sense of hope, community, and ownership.  MGK hosted SPOUT for three weeks in October 2009.  Our collaboration involves the development of a sustainable moringa-biosand filtration process and education of the community about methods for obtaining safe drinking water.
